Set in one hundred acres on the banks of the river Shannon-Erne waterway, Riverrun offers an unrivaled opportunity to invest in one of Irelands premier holiday retreats. The houses were designed to get the most from the river setting, fronted with floor to ceiling windows to give panoramic views of the river and its boating activity.
Riverrun was invited by RTE to feature in their new series of Showhouse. Jenny Bogan was selected from a large group of designers to compete in the competition.

Jenny says “I wanted to design an interior that didn’t compete with surrounding landscape. The impressive house design and stunning setting was my first source of inspiration. The Riverrun lifestyle concept was fundamental in evaluating the target market. An up market retreat away from the city suggested a relaxing and luxurious interior.
“The overall colour scheme is quite neutral with hot bright colours introduced through various interesting points of focus. Hot warm reds and orange are the key injections of colour.
“I brought the outdoors inside with use of lots of foliage, elaborate lighting and bespoke fabric backed wall paper with a wood grain effect in the downstairs study.
“The use of coloured glass, striking feature walls, luxurious soft furnishings and my own art work add to the unique special quality of the Riverrun resort.”
